MiniLeague – Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16/09/2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the MiniLeague website and to purchases made through our website.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions set out the terms on which MiniLeague sells products to you through our website.

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made by consumers. If you are purchasing products for business purposes, please contact us before placing an order.

2. About MiniLeague

MiniLeague is a trading name operated by James Steers, a sole trader based in England and Wales.

Contact email: james@minileague.store

Our postal address is: 27 Old Gloucester St, Holborn, London WC1N 3AX

You can also find our contact details on our Contact page.

3. Using Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only.

You must not:

  • use our website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or its systems;
  • interfere with the operation or security of our website;
  • reproduce, copy or commercially exploit website content without our permission; or
  • use our website to transmit malicious software or harmful material.

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to our website where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security or other operational reasons.

4. Our Products

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and other information on our website are accurate.

However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen, and minor variations may occur between photographs and the actual product.

Where a product is made using individual LEGO® elements, the exact elements supplied may vary where necessary, provided that the finished product remains materially consistent with the description.

Any product-specific information, including dimensions, number of pieces, contents and recommended use, will be provided on the relevant product page where applicable.

5. LEGO® Disclaimer

MiniLeague is an independent third-party business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or authorised by the LEGO Group.

Where our products contain genuine LEGO® bricks or elements, this does not mean that the product itself is an official LEGO® product.

Important: Our products are third-party custom products made using genuine LEGO® bricks and/or elements. They are not official LEGO® products and are not produced, endorsed or authorised by the LEGO Group.

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse MiniLeague or its products.

6. Product Use, Display Models and Safety

Our products are designed primarily for assembly and display.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, our products are display models rather than children's toys and are not intended primarily for children's play.

Important: Display model, not a toy.

Our products may contain small parts and are not suitable for young children. Products should be assembled and used in accordance with any safety information or instructions provided with them.

Where applicable, product-specific safety information, warnings and age guidance will be provided on the relevant product page, packaging or accompanying instructions.

You should read and follow all safety information and instructions supplied with your product.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any product-safety requirement or statutory right that applies to our products.

For the avoidance of doubt, describing a product as a display model does not override any legal product-safety requirements that may apply to that product.

7. Custom Products

Some of our products may be custom-designed, made to order or assembled specifically for you.

Where a product is personalised or made according to your specific requirements, we will make this clear before you place your order.

Custom or personalised products may be subject to different cancellation and return rights where permitted by law. Further information is provided in Section 14.

8. Digital Products

Some products may consist entirely or partly of digital content, such as PDF building instructions or parts lists.

Digital products will normally be supplied electronically using the email address provided when you place your order.

You are responsible for ensuring that the email address you provide is accurate and that you have the necessary software and equipment to access the digital content.

You must not copy, redistribute, resell or commercially exploit our digital products unless we expressly permit you to do so.

Where applicable, you may be asked to expressly agree to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you may lose your statutory cancellation right once supply begins.

9. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

After placing an order, you will normally receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

A contract between you and MiniLeague will be formed when we confirm that we have accepted your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • a product is unavailable;
  • there is an obvious error in the product description or price;
  • we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or
  • we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

10. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£), unless otherwise stated.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate. If we discover an obvious pricing error before your order is accepted, we may contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.

Payment must be made using the payment methods made available at checkout.

We may use third-party payment providers to process payments. Your payment may therefore also be subject to those providers' terms and conditions.

11. Delivery

We will provide information about the expected delivery timeframe on the relevant product page and/or at checkout before you place your order.

Some MiniLeague products may require a minimum delivery period of approximately 6 to 8 weeks, particularly where LEGO® elements or other components need to be sourced or prepared specifically for your order.

Where this applies, the relevant delivery timeframe will be stated on the product page before you purchase.

Any delivery date or timeframe provided is an estimate unless we expressly agree a specific delivery date with you.

We will make reasonable efforts to fulfil orders within the stated timeframe, but delivery may take longer where circumstances outside our reasonable control affect production, preparation or shipping.

We will not use this clause to exclude or restrict any statutory rights you have in relation to late delivery.

If there is a significant delay, we will contact you where appropriate and explain the available options.

12. Risk and Delivery

For consumer purchases, responsibility for the product generally remains with MiniLeague until the product comes into your physical possession or the possession of a person you have identified to receive it on your behalf, unless otherwise permitted by law.

Once the product has been delivered to you, responsibility for loss or damage will generally pass to you.

This section does not affect your statutory rights.

13. Missing or Incorrect Parts

Our physical sets are made to order, and therefore occasional human error may result in a part being missing or an incorrect part being included.

If you believe that your order is missing any parts, or contains any incorrect parts, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at james@minileague.store, providing your order number and details of the issue.

Where parts are missing or incorrect, we will work with you to resolve the issue and, where appropriate, arrange for the missing or correct parts to be supplied at no additional cost to you.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

14. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

We want you to receive your order in good condition and as described.

If your product arrives damaged, faulty, incomplete or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details of the problem, including photographs where appropriate.

Your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.

Where required by law, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

15. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this section.

Your statutory cancellation rights

If you are purchasing as a consumer through our website, you may generally have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

Where this right applies, the cancellation period normally begins when you receive the goods.

There are exceptions to the statutory cancellation right, including for certain goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Where an exception applies, we will make this clear where appropriate before you place your order.

Digital content

For digital content supplied immediately after purchase, your statutory cancellation rights may end once you have agreed to the immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledged that you will lose your cancellation right.

Faulty or incorrect products

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

Voluntary returns

We do not offer a general voluntary returns policy beyond the rights required by law.

Where you have a statutory right to cancel or return a product, we will comply with that right.

16. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the MiniLeague website and its content, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, designs, videos, building instructions and other materials, are owned by or licensed to MiniLeague.

You may use our website and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.

17. Third-Party Intellectual Property

Some products may incorporate designs, names, images, logos, trademarks or other intellectual property belonging to third parties.

MiniLeague does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property.

Where relevant, our products are independent third-party creations and should not be interpreted as being officially associated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the relevant rights holder.

18. Reviews and Customer Feedback

If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content to MiniLeague, you confirm that:

  • you have the right to submit that content;
  • it does not infringe another person's rights;
  • it is not unlawful, defamatory or misleading; and
  • it does not contain malicious software or other harmful material.

By submitting content, you grant MiniLeague a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content for the purposes of operating and promoting MiniLeague.

We reserve the right to remove content that we reasonably consider inappropriate, unlawful or inconsistent with these Terms.

19. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or practices of third-party websites or services.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

20. Shopify

Our online store is hosted by Shopify.

Shopify provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your use of our website may therefore also be subject to Shopify's applicable terms and policies.

However, your contract for the purchase of products is with MiniLeague, not Shopify.

21. Errors and Changes

We try to ensure that all information on our website is accurate.

However, errors, omissions or inaccuracies may occasionally occur.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information and make reasonable changes to our products, website or pricing.

Where an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you where appropriate.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

22. Promotions

From time to time, we may offer discounts, promotions or other special offers.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined with other offers.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, subject to any rights you have already acquired under a contract.

Any specific terms applying to a promotion will be provided at the time the promotion is offered.

23. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free from errors.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security, technical problems or other operational reasons.

24. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This may include, for example:

  • natural disasters;
  • severe weather;
  • fire or flooding;
  • war, terrorism or civil unrest;
  • strikes or industrial disputes;
  • government action or restrictions;
  • significant disruption to postal or courier services;
  • supplier shortages;
  • manufacturing or supply-chain disruption; or
  • significant technical failures.

Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep you informed where appropriate.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory rights you may have.

25. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • defective products where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited; or
  • any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

We are not responsible for losses that:

  • were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed;
  • arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
  • result from your use of a product other than in accordance with the supplied instructions or applicable safety information, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

26. Indemnity

You agree to compensate MiniLeague for reasonable losses, costs or expenses arising from your unlawful use of our website or your breach of these Terms & Conditions, except to the extent that such losses result from our own negligence, breach of contract or other unlawful conduct.

This clause does not apply to the extent that it would be unfair or unlawful to impose such liability on you as a consumer.

27. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our website where reasonably necessary, including where you seriously breach these Terms & Conditions or misuse our website.

Termination of your access to the website will not affect rights or obligations that have already arisen under an existing contract.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

29. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms & Conditions, this does not mean that we have waived that right.

Any waiver must be expressly made by us.

30. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with the information provided on the relevant product page, our Privacy Policy and any other terms expressly incorporated into your order, form the agreement between you and MiniLeague in relation to your purchase.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude information or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version that applies to your order will generally be the version in force when you place your order.

Changes made after you have placed an order will not affect your existing contract unless required by law or agreed with you.

32. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and MiniLeague are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under applicable law.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights you may have, the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions or your purchase from MiniLeague.

This clause does not mean that MiniLeague voluntarily agrees to be subject to all laws of every country. If we begin selling to customers outside the UK, additional mandatory legal requirements may apply depending on the destination country and the circumstances of the sale.
