Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Our returns policy

We do not offer voluntary returns or refunds for change-of-mind purchases beyond the rights provided to consumers under applicable law.

This means that, once any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, we will generally not accept returns, exchanges or refunds simply because you have changed your mind or no longer want the product.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Where applicable law gives you a right to cancel an order, return a product or receive a refund, we will honour that right.

2. Statutory cancellation rights for physical products

When you purchase a physical product from us online, you will generally have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without having to provide a reason.

You must notify us within the applicable cancellation period. After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you will generally have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

Where permitted by law, you will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods following a change-of-mind cancellation.

Please contact us before returning any product so that we can provide you with the appropriate return instructions.

Condition of returned products

You are entitled to handle the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, in broadly the same way you would be able to inspect them in a shop.

However, you may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.

3. Products that are exempt from cancellation rights

Certain products are excluded from the statutory cancellation right where a specific legal exception applies.

This may include goods that are made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.

However, a product being designed by MiniLeague or being prepared to order does not necessarily, by itself, mean that it is exempt from the statutory cancellation right.

Where a particular MiniLeague product is subject to a statutory exception, we will make this clear to you before you place your order.

4. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products

Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if:

the product is faulty or defective;
the product has been damaged;
you have received the wrong product;
the product is not as described; or
there is another problem with the product.

If the product does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, you may have statutory rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer voluntary exchanges.

If you wish to purchase a different MiniLeague product, you will generally need to place a new order.

This does not affect any statutory cancellation or other consumer rights that may apply to your original purchase.

6. Digital products

Some MiniLeague products consist of digital content, such as PDF building instructions and/or digital parts lists.

Where digital content is supplied immediately following purchase, we may ask you to expressly confirm that:

you want the digital content to be supplied immediately; and
you acknowledge that you may lose your statutory right to cancel once supply of the digital content begins.

Where the required consent and acknowledgement have been obtained, the statutory cancellation right may no longer apply once supply of the digital content has begun.

This does not affect any other statutory rights you may have in relation to digital content, including where the content does not meet the requirements of applicable law.

7. Refunds

Where you are legally entitled to a refund, we will process your refund in accordance with applicable law.

For a valid statutory cancellation of physical goods, we will generally refund the payments received from you, including the cost of the standard delivery option you selected when placing the order. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we are generally only required to refund the cost of the standard delivery option.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

Once we have processed your refund, the time taken for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

8. No refunds outside statutory rights

Except where required by applicable law, all purchases are final.

We do not provide refunds or accept returns solely because:

you have changed your mind;
you no longer want the product;
you ordered the wrong product;
you ordered the wrong quantity; or
you simply decide that you do not wish to keep the product after the applicable statutory cancellation period.

This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming products.
